Knowledge transfer

Knowledge exchange and transfer is important to keep an advanced technical level. Dr.-Ing. Martina Scheer is part of the knowledge give-and-take community, as can be seen in national and international publications and in the participation and organisation of successfully carried out workshops and conferences, e.g.:

  • Workshop Strategic Planning for Water Supply and Wastewater Menagement, Workshop of the INDO-GERMAN WATER network in cooperation with Centre for Environmental Studies, Anna University Chennai, and German Technical cooperation GTZ, Chennai, India, April 2009
  • Workshop of the INDO-GERMAN WATER network in cooperation with German Technical cooperation GTZ, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Jalamandali Abhiantharara Sangha, Bangalore, India, April 2009
  • Conference on real-time control, sewerage flushing and water pollution control, University Darmstadt, iaks GmbH and Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt, Osnabrück, 2006
  • Workshop online-measurement in sewerage system 2002, Allgäu, iaks Gmbh, October 2002
  • Seminar online-measurement in sewerage system, Handwerkskammer Dortmund, ISET e.V., department of water and biomass, October 1999

The tradition of knowledge-transfer is continuing at Engineering Consultants Scheer. In February an article of real-time control was published in the Korrespondenz Abwasser (journal of the German association of water, wastewater and waste). In April 2009 workshops concerning wastewater disposal and water supply were carried out in Bangalore and Chennai, India. Workshops in Delhi and Mumbai in November 2009 are in preparation.
